I suppose it should depend on how you feel tomorrow, but if it were me, I’d be standing on the sidelines cheering John on. Still, presumably the doctor knows of what he (she?) speaks.

So, I still want to get together on Sunday, but I’m thinking of maybe going back to the meeting in the middle at Ebenezer’s Coffeehouse instead. My desire to go to World Market was fleeting (and apparently it isn’t actually IN Tyson’s Corner, just somewhere in the vicinity.) Sorry, don’t mean to be so flighty. What do you think?

It occurred to me that with bronchitis you might not WANT to get together on Sunday….sorry, wasn’t thinking.

Well, considering that I don’t feel like I have bronchitis, I do still want to hang out. Okay, I HAVE bronchitis, so I guess I just don’t feel like I imagined someone with bronchitis would feel. Whatever. 🙂 My point is that I feel fine (except for the coughing, which is already better today than yesterday) and I do still want to get together. Ebenezer’s in DC is fine (it’s on F St, by Union Station, right?). How about early to mid-afternoon? Maybe 2ish?

2-ish sounds good. I suspect Chuck is not going to come, but he might. And yes it’s on F Street by Union Station. I’ve never been there but it sounds good and has great reviews.

Yeah, John will most likely not be there, either. School stuff. I’ll aim for 2pm and call you when I’m there or almost there or running late or whatever. 🙂

Dr. Mom says, DON’T RUN TOMORROW! Listen to Jess…..er, I mean penguinslippers. I’m glad you’re not feeling too bad, but keep in mind that “Bronchitis is an inflammation of the large bronchi (medium-sized airways) in the lungs. It can progress to pneumonia. Acute bronchitis is usually caused by viruses or bacteria and may last several days or weeks.[1] Acute bronchitis is characterized by cough and sputum (phlegm) production and symptoms related to the obstruction of the airways by the inflamed airways and the phlegm, such as shortness of breath and wheezing” (Wikipedia). Don’t make me come up there and put you bed! But if your coughing is uncontrollable just trying to lie still and sleep at night, think about what running can do for your cough.

I made chicken soup for Jan today, so I’m sending you some virtual chicken soup to feel you better.

Thanks for the virtual soup, Mom. But your warning about running is TOO LATE. The race was yesterday (Saturday). And I’m fine. I’ll tell you all about it later.

Zannah, Just wanted to let you know that I (your dad) am also reading and enjoying your inane chatter. But this won’t let me register another username under our mutual email. So you may just have to guess, sometimes, who is commenting on your blog!
