Slight redesign

Very slight. But I like it better. I also added a page to track my exercise (so now I can publicly humiliate myself when I don’t exercise), and I think I’ve figured out my picture issues. Haven’t fixed it yet, but I think I know how now. I’m going to settle in for the evening with John.

When you make a change to the layout of your blog, the previous layout is gone, and people just discovering your blog will not know there was a change. But you already know this, so I’ll stop lecturing…

For someone whose blog consists of picture of a guitar and nothing else, I’m not sure your advice will be so well-taken, John. But, I don’t really see any change.

And, Z, if ever your friends and family had doubts about your anal tendencies, your excercise log will now fully erase them. Down .2 pounds? Up .4? Jeez.

Well, I wanted to track my weight without actually publishing the numbers. And since my scale goes by tenths of pounds, so will I. So there. πŸ˜›

My change consisted of getting rid of the right-most column, moving its contents to the remaining column, and moving everything over the right. And John did all of that for me.

    And John posted yesterday…

Maybe you should just weigh yourself every week. You’ll drive yourself nuts doing it every day. Well, I would drive myself nuts doing it every day, anyway. People (especially women) experience minor weight fluctuations over a period of one or two days that have more to do with water retention than anything else. (You probably already know this too, so now I’ll stop lecturing…) πŸ™‚

I’ve been doing it every day since April. Weekly actually bothers me more because of those fluctuations. If I’m up a little during the week, is it water? If I’m down a little, was it water? Will it come back? I feel more in control doing it every day. πŸ™‚

Is there a scale out there that is accurate enough to weigh yourself everyday? I think we have a pretty good scale (yes I paid too much for it) and it fluctuates by a pound or more. I weigh myself nekkid just to make sure it is not clothes that is causing the difference. I like the changes on the blog.

I don’t think there’s any way to take water weight fluctuations out of the equation. I’m sure I didn’t spend more than $30 (definitely not more than $40) for our scale. Digital, glass. Don’t remember the brand, but I got it at Target. To be as consistent as possible, I weight myself at the same point in my day, every day. And yeah, no clothes. Pre-shower (no wet hair to weigh me down).

And I’m glad you like the changes. πŸ™‚
