The rearranging is done, but I have all sorts of plans to make our house look like a place where actual grown-ups live, so if the rooms look not quite finished, that’s why.

I like the new arrangement a lot. But you have to get rid of those old ratty green chairs we gave you. The dining room looks elegant even with Nonny’s old table, and the library is so inviting with the bay window.

Mom, I’ll be happy to get rid of the green chairs, but not until I find replacements. That kind of shopping (the dining room table is the exception) will have to wait a while, though.

I think, as far as a place where grownups live, you have thus succeeded.
I personally have given up entirely on that goal, since I’ve decided my box spring will always be on the floor, always.

I wanted a platform bed for a LONG time (I still wouldn’t say no to one), and as far as I’m concerned, a box spring on the floor is the affordable alternative. You’re living my dream! And it’s so convenient. No need for bedside tables ’cause the floor’s right there!

ohmygoodness!!!!!!!!! I love what you guys did! it looks so different! I can’t wait to see it in person- LOVE what you did with the books around the bay window. I am very impressed…Molly may hire you to rearrange her room since it is her favorite past time haha

Thanks, Em! Tell Molly our prices are pretty steep. I think I’ve used up all my good free ideas.
