Not creative enough to figure this out

I need a new 0-calorie drink for work.  A hot drink.  My office is freezing, and I’m already wearing a sweater.  I spend all day drinking water, but water is cold.  I’m trying not to let myself get hot chocolate or coffee or tea (I add way too much milk and sugar to coffee (and tea) to make it drinkable, and I don’t need the calories from either drink), but I don’t really see any other options.  It looks like I either need to learn to drink my coffee (or tea) black (gross – makes me shudder just thinking about it) or I need to start heating up my water.  And that’s just weird.  So maybe I’ll just suffer.

You might be able to find an herbal tea that you could drink without adding anything to make it drinkable. Peach, maybe? No calories, no caffeine but hot. Just a thought. 🙂

I suppose it’s possible peach herbal tea has something like 5 or 10 calories – something manageable.

I’m willing to try it (probably not peach, but some other flavors), and I’m also willing to forgive myself 5 or 10 calories. 🙂

I bought some incredibly expensive peach tea from Regan’s shop. It’s naturally sweet, so I think you would like it. I brought some to GA so you can try it.

You don’t like the flavor of peaches … Okay, well. I’ll cope. I don’t understand, but I’ll cope. 🙂

Cover them in cobbler topping or amaretto (remember that jelly/ice cream topping you made, Mom?) and I’ll gobble them up. Otherwise, yeah, I don’t really like them. Sorry. 🙂

You can always try fat free powdered creamer and artificial sweetener in coffee. I use the fat free creamer and it’s fine. I’ve never been able to tolerate artificial sweetener and still load mine up with real sugar, but if you’re serious about keeping it low calorie it’s worth a shot.

    Bridget – Brilliant.

Randy – using artificial sweetener would keep the calories down AND keep me from drinking a whole cup because of the taste. Win-win. Thanks!
