Not so good

I took my calculus final last night.  I don’t feel good about it.  And that sucks.  But it’s over, it’s done, there’s nothing left but the screaming, and I will do my best not to fret.  Until I get my grade.  But then at least I’ll know.  New focus: statistics.  My goal for the weekend is to get through two more quizzes.  And run six miles on Saturday.  That’s really all I’m hoping to accomplish.  That and get to the grocery store.  I need to buy lots of fruit and other healthy things.  And maybe go to Target.  And possibly weed the flower beds.  Drink some wine.  Oooh, I bought a raspberry merlot (“the kind you buy at a second-hand store”) at one of the wineries Jess and I visited last weekend (did I mention Jess and I went wine-tasting last Saturday?).  It’s really good.  Sadly, it’s mostly gone already.  I might have to buy more…but maybe not this weekend.  I’m in danger of over-scheduling myself.  Focus, please.  Statistics!

    That’s raspberry beret.

What are the odds you and I both could score 100% on a statistics test? Hm. If I can do it, I know you can. And if you don’t, it’s simply because your test was HARDER.

Went to Wal-mart today (I know, I know) and bought a gazebo canopy and a kiddie blow-up pool. Add a box of cheap wine and I’m beatin’ the heat in the most redneck-y way. Ain’t ya proud of your KY kin-folk?

I know it was a beret. So much for being funny. This is why I shouldn’t try.

Don’t ask me about odds. I’m only on Chapter 3.

But did you buy the box wine? It all hinges on the answer. And if you’re hiding in the backyard, it doesn’t count. As much.

Yes, got the wine. Yes, hiding in my private backyard. So much for being a redneck. I should move it to my driveway, but then I think the neighborhood teenagers would come over. Shudder. Talk about rednecks…

Raspberry merlot? Must be very fruity. We found a yummy South African wine in Sweden called Coffee Pinotage–really rich, and yes it did have coffee overtones. But I doubt we could ever find it in KY. At least we’re not reduced to box wine yet…although I’ve heard some of it is pretty good. But with wine in a box, how do you know when to stop? At least, we usually stop with one bottle.
