I can’t be the only one humming it

I blame Netflix for putting The Final Countdown in my head.  I searched for Eureka on our Roku, and a Europe concert came up in the results.  I need to search for something else quick ’cause it’ll be there every time I look until I do.

If I find myself singing or humming this later I’ll blame you. Netflix didn’t put a gun to your head and make you blog about it. Nope.

Suddenly Seymour. If you were on FB, you might understand but probably not. Just powerful enough to overtake the final takedown, deh neh neh ne ne, deh neh neh ne, ne ne ne ne deh deh deh…

Enjoy. I have the house to myself for a couple days, so singing showtunes unabashedly will be my MO. Just sayin’.

Fortunately I don’t remember the words to Suddenly Seymour well enough to get that stuck in my head. However Skid Row… that’s a different story.

I only know the part that goes “Suddenly Seymour…is standing beside me…” So that part repeats a lot for me. 🙂 But not for long – I usually drop the song so I can shout “FEED me Seymour!” in my best Audrey II voice. Which is pretty terrible.

Skid Row, also good. Z, you’ll be happy to know that I am currently in training for all three women’s leads from Les Mis. That is, as long as the hubby is out of town and I can practice singing un-self-consciously throughout the house. I’m leaning toward “I dreamed a dream,” but I’ll bow to your alto skills on the “tigers come at night” part. Sheesh. I think I have to start the whole song an octave higher just to hit the low note!

So excited to come and see it in a couple weeks, btw!
