There is nothing special about Wednesdays.

Feel free to disagree.

Yesterday went by at a breakneck pace.  Today, not so much.  We slept in until 7:30 this morning, listening to the rain.  Should have gotten up for Yoga Booty Ballet.  Didn’t.  Got out the door in plenty of time to make my 9:30 conference call at work.  Plodded through the rest of the day.

If anyone needs proof of how lazy we both are, here you go: we haven’t done the laundry I’ve been promising to do since the weekend (we still have clean clothes, so desperation hasn’t driven us to it yet) AND – this is the big one – our Christmas tree is still up.

While cooking our tortellini for dinner this evening, I noticed that it smelled like wet dog.  Has this ever happened to anyone?  It didn’t taste like wet dog.  ‘Tis a mystery.

I agree. Nothing special about Wednesdays.

Well, that’s the day that we have to have the draft paper ready for the PAO to review, but because that happens every Wednesday, it has ceased to be special.

I haven’t done the laundry all week either AND our tree is still up. We’re taking it down tonight though so it can go out on the curb to get picked up tomorrow.

Nothing particularly special about Thursdays either…it’s just DRAGGING.

I’m SO glad we’re not the only ones with a tree up. Ours is fake, so we don’t have a trash pick-up deadline. I’ll take a stand, though – it’s coming down by the end of this weekend.

Usually, getting to work as early as we did today makes the day seem to go faster. For instance, it’s 1:30. On a normal day, that would be awful and I’d still have 4 and a half hours to go. Today, I should be thrilled that I only have two and a half hours to go. But I’m not ’cause it feels like we’ve been here forever. Instead of “I can’t believe it’s already 1:30,” I’m thinking “I can’t believe it’s only 1:30!”
