Feeling much better now, thanks for asking

So I’ve skipped the last couple of days because I’ve been sick.  I left work early on Tuesday and stayed home Wednesday, too.  I can’t remember the last time I took a sick day.  Something flu-ish and very unpleasant.  But I feel much better this evening.  I finished A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius the other day (finally) and I read Fablehaven (a children’s book, much in the same way the first couple of Harry Potter books are children’s books (but those are better)) while I was under the weather.  Since the movie of The Time Traveler’s Wife comes out next weekend, I’ve decided it’s finally time to reread the book.  Again.

While I was home yesterday (in the few hours I wasn’t sleeping), I watched Mamma Mia! and kinda wished I hadn’t.  It was bad, made no sense whatsoever, and went on too long.  For a funny review of it (by a guy who didn’t like it, either), go here.  In better news, we’re going to see the new Harry Potter movie this weekend!  Yay!

I’m glad you’re feeling better. That sucked.

We didn’t even finish Mama Mia. Got past the horrible song with the girls (don’t even care to remember what it was called) but turned it off when the dads started arriving. Stupid, stupid, stupid. My mother-in-law loved it. Go figure.

Ooh, can’t WAIT for the TT’sW movie! I lent it to a buddy last year and she and I are planning on going to the movie together (and spare our menfolks).

I need to stop talking about that stupid movie (Mamma Mia!, of course), ’cause everytime it comes up, one of the more annoying songs gets stuck in my head. That subject is closed!

I need to find out if my manfolk is interested in seeing The Time Traveler’s Wife. He read it and liked it well enough (although he has some problems with parts of it), so I don’t know if he wants to see the movie.

I didn’t ask, and I feel badly about that. I have been horribly negligent in reading your posts.

I like the term “menfolk.” 🙂

I prefer manfolk. 🙂 And speaking of, mine knows how much I love that book and wants to take me to see the movie.

Don’t feel badly about not asking (I wasn’t being sarcastic with that title), but you should feel terrible about neglecting my posts. Mmm…I take that back. I should feel terrible about neglecting my posts. I’ve been not so good about keeping up with the daily thing. (Also not so good with the words and sentence structure.)
