Very Important Questions

  1. While I finish cleaning the house in preparation for Mom and Dad’s visit, I want to listen to music.  Do I want to sing and dance and have a good ol’ time?  Or do I want to listen to classical music and calm my crazy crazy brain?
  2. What are we having for dinner tonight?  We have NO food in the house.
  3. There wasn’t enough wine left in the bottle for a whole glass, so I poured the rest of it into a small tumbler.  Does that make me a wino?  (At least I’m not drinking it straight out of the bottle.)
  4. Why don’t people burst into song and choreographed dancing on a regular basis?

  1. Melvin?

    1. Sing and dance because you’ll burn all that psycho energy off and have more fun.
    2. Wine.
    3. No. (And I see no problem with drinking straight out of the bottle when there’s only so much left) 🙂
    4. Most people think walking and explaining things in regular speaking voices are sufficient for their lives. But I don’t want those people getting their own dance numbers anyway.

  2. 1 – What Mel said.
2 – Whatever delivers the fastest. I vote for Chinese. And I just realized this post is five days old, so maybe something that keeps well in the fridge instead.
3 – No. Though a juice glass would have been better. It’s just really old juice.
4 – Because not enough people watch Glee. Yet.

    1. I gotta go with everyone else on this one. Classical is for reading.
    2. Indian. Mmmm … Indian …
    3. No. It makes you not wasteful. And drinking out of the bottle means not having to wash glasses. It saves the planet. Hell, we should all be drinking out of the bottle. It’s the ecologically responsible thing to do.
    4. I burst into song and … well … dance on a regular basis. (I can’t claim it’s choreographed.) But I also eat cookies for breakfast and recently expressed a desire to dress like a 4-year-old.

You guys are hilarious. All of you. And I honestly don’t remember what we had for dinner that night. I think it might have been Chinese. If only the Indian place delivered…

  5. @Jess My wife and I were recently entertaining the idea of “Dress like your child day”, where we put on a bunch of clothes that in no way match. And fairy wings. It looks cute on her, so why can’t we pull it off?

  6. Jess

    I can’t believe I didn’t think of that.

(Zannah, your blog just told me that I’m posting comments too quickly and ordered me to slow down. Made me literally laugh out loud.)
