Other priorities. Well, priority.

Tonight is about finishing my book so I can run out and buy my new book on my way to work tomorrow morning.  Which may not be the best idea, since I’ll spend all day really wishing I could be reading.  And you know, I just need to have it tomorrow.  (Because I do.  I just…do.)  I don’t necessarily need to start reading it immediately.  Which means I don’t necessarily have to finish this book tonight.  I don’t want to rush through it or anything.  Necessarily.  🙂  (Good word.  Fun to say.)

Hm.  I think I just talked myself out of the need to finish it tonight.  Which isn’t to say I won’t spend all evening reading – now I’m repeating myself.  No pressure!

What book did you have to get? Or did I somehow miss that somewhere? I’m especially excited about getting Audrey Niffenegger’s new book on Thursday (the bookstore down the street from my office didn’t have it yet, but they ordered it for me, and I figured I don’t mind waiting to support independent bookstores.)

I just started Neil Gaiman’s The Graveyard Book. It’s not as enthralling as I was expecting it to be, but it’s a fun read so far.

See “New Book” posted on 10/20 and Currently Reading. It’s the latest in the Wheel of Time series that makes me oh-so-nerdy.

I’m probably going to wait for the Audrey Niffenegger book to come out in paperback. So it matches my edition of The Time Traveler’s Wife. And is cheaper.

I picked up Neverwhere and..something else by Gaiman I can’t remember the name of, but I wasn’t crazy about American Gods, so I’ve been putting off reading those. On the other hand, I liked Good Omens and I loved Stardust, so what am I waiting for?
